With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Walter is our trusted Managing Director. Beginning his career as a bricklayer and later becoming a dual trade carpenter, Walter brings extensive practical expertise to his role.

He advanced his career as a supervisor for both project and bespoke builders, eventually moving into upper management. Walter completed his diploma in building and construction, becoming a registered builder. He serves on the technical committee of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and is the Chairman of the Board for a local school. His leadership and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to our organisation.

Walter’s unique problem-solving skills and project oversight embody integrity. He consistently finds innovative solutions while adhering to his principles. Known for his honesty and dependability, Walter never shies away from challenging situations.

Fun fact: Walter is also a qualified scuba instructor.

With 20 years of experience in administration and bookkeeping, Nicole is our Head of HR and accounts. Her extensive background spans multiple industries, including industrial, trades and technical and not-for-profits, showcasing her versatility and dedication. Nicole’s expertise in managing diverse teams and her commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment make her an invaluable asset to our organisation. She is a devoted mother of 5 who works tirelessly to ensure the best for her family and community.

Amy, our highly skilled Lead Architect Designer, holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and brings over a decade of experience in residential design, prestart, and construction. Her extensive background provides her with a profound industry understanding, enabling her to deliver exceptional and innovative design solutions.

Amy collaborates closely with our director to ensure seamless integration of design and construction on-site, resulting in a smoother build process that is both functional and beautiful.

Throughout her career, Amy has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to blend creativity with functionality, ensuring each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. Her expertise spans a wide range of residential projects, from single-family homes to large-scale developments, always with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

With a decade of experience in operational management for not-for-profits, James ensures smooth processes. His Marine Technician background in the Defence Force instilled a disciplined, strategic approach, which he leverages to drive operational excellence.

As a former Trade Sales Manager for a large business, James refined his leadership skills and market understanding, enhancing his ability to manage complex projects. His diverse experience across non-profit and commercial sectors equips him with a unique perspective and versatile skill set.

With a career spanning over 20 years in various facets of construction, Rick Ten Haaf serves as our dedicated Construction Manager. Beginning as a cabinet maker’s assistant and completing his carpentry joinery apprenticeship, Rick has accumulated extensive hands-on experience in multiple roles on construction sites.

In addition to his comprehensive construction background, Rick is also a registered nurse, bringing a unique blend of skills and perspectives to his role. This diverse expertise allows him to approach projects with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
